⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Electrician — Highly Recommend! It is rare these days to come across someone who is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but also genuinely wonderful to have in your home. Mike is truly the whole package! From the moment we met him, his wonderful personality, professionalism, patience, kindness, and positive attitude stood out. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and talented, but what impressed us most was the way he approached every project (we were having a large extension added to the house). He took the time to listen to what we wanted, explained everything clearly, and came up with creative, thoughtful ideas and solutions that we never would have thought of ourselves. He is punctual, dependable, meticulous, and takes tremendous pride in his work. He doesn't rush through a job just to get it finished. He genuinely cares about doing things the right way and making sure his customers are completely satisfied. Even when we changed our minds, had questions, or needed something explained again, he was incredibly patient and accommodating. Beyond his technical expertise, he is simply a kind, trustworthy, respectful, and honest person, which makes such a difference when you're inviting someone into your home. He made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and enjoyable. Mike's attention to detail is exceptional, his workmanship is outstanding, and his ideas and problem-solving skills are second to none. He went above and beyond our expectations in every way. If you are looking for an electrician, stop looking — you've found the right person! We couldn't be happier with the work he did for us and would recommend him without hesitation. Mike is the kind of professional you hope to find but rarely do. Five stars doesn't seem like enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mike was exceptional. Everything was completed as expected and on time. He was adept at communicating any issues that arose. I highly recommend him and will certainly be utilizing his services again.
Had Michael on site today for continuing issues with our circa house. He listened intently, had creative ideas & NAILED a solution within an hour. Once the issues were identified, he proceeded to troubleshoot & insure no furthers issues could occur. We have the ultimate trust in that he knows his stuff! Such a peaceful feeling.
Outstanding work! Super clean and super helpful with coming up with lighting solutions for my house. I Highly Recommend Crafted !
Michael is amazing owner i had my ac go out during a heat wave this summer every electric contractor i called either didn't return my calls I contacted Michael of Crafted Illumination and he understood my difficult situation he promised to get my AC installed ASAP a very involved job at a very affordable price I would recommend Crafted to anyone.
Excellent experience! Michael was very professional and thorough. I appreciated that everything was clearly explained ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect. I would not hesitate to recommend Crafted Illumination.
Mike at Crafted Illumination is phenomenal! He was recommended to me by a neighbor who is a general contractor. I needed a small repair to start and due to his professionalism and straight forward, honest demeanor I finally decided to start the long overdue upgrades to my 98 year old house. He first did an entire new electrical service to the house which was done in less time then I had anticipated and he and his whole crew left with my house looking like the new service had always been there. The second phase just completed this week where he rewired the entire second floor which was a feat in and of itself, replacing every outlet and light switch and installing an additional 8 outlets to bring the house to modern codes, recessed lighting in two bedrooms and the hallway and several new light fixtures in the other upstairs rooms. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. I’m highly anticipating the final phase which will be the main floor in a few months. If you are looking for a fair, professional and impeccably detailed electrician not only will you not be disappointed you will be as ecstatic as I am when your work is done!

Crafted Illumination is by far the best electrical contractor on Long Island! They have a strong emphasis on quality installations, that they stand behind 100%. Great communication and professionalism. Will trust Michael and Crafted Illumination with all future electrical projects!
I don’t typically leave reviews, but after the fantastic experience I had with Mike at Crafted, I just had to. Needed some pendants installed over my kitchen island and he did a great job! I know it doesn’t sound like a complicated thing, and I guess it probably isnt- but he ran a new line so I could make the existing switch a 3-way, swapped out a dumb rocker switch with a smart switch so I can control them from my phone and perfectly laid out and installed the pendants. Now I know any electrician should be able to do that- but the 5 stars is for his communication, speed and cleanliness. He arrived when promised, did the work and left the place so spotless my wife almost didn’t even realize the new pendants were up! Can’t say that about other contractors I’ve dealt with before! Thanks!!
As a first-time home owner, I had tremendous anxiety, doubts, and fears about finding honest, skilled contractors and tradesman to do major work in my new home. I needed a complete bathroom renovation, partial kitchen renovation (with major tile work), updating of the electrical panel, the addition and movement of several outlets and several high hats (recessed lighting) throughout the home. Several walls had to be opened, new wire ran, etc. I had no idea what to expect. Crafted Illumination went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and the work is impeccable. Michael kept the exact schedule we arranged, he was NEVER late, ALWAYS cleaned up everyday, and explained every detail of his work. The price was reasonable, and in my opinion the work is far superior to other electrical work I've seen. I rarely write reviews, but when you find a business that exceeds all expectations and dispels all your preconceived notions and worries- a good review is well deserved. Thank you Crafted Illumination!
We went with crafted illumination to do some electrical upgrades for our home. Michael is a pleasure to deal with, he's very honest and cares about doing a great job. He is very fair in his pricing and did a great job cleaning up when he had to cut open walls to change outlets and lights. He also takes the time to explain what he is doing and makes suggestions that can help you to have something installed correctly. I highly recommend him!
We awoke to a strange partial outage in our home that effected our remote work computers. After trying to contact my own 3 electricians previously used, a ChatGBT recommendation, and a friend referral, the only one who answered the call was Michael!! Not only was he polite, professional, and knowledgeable, but first asked to "walk me through" the issue, sending a pic of our electrical box and trying various things. He found the issue with just that!!! He's amazing!! Thank you Michael for your expertise and willingness to take the time to help!!
I have used Crafted Illumination for several electrical projects including attic fan replacement, major repairs, and new installation both indoors and outdoors. They always do a great job, show up when they say they will, and leave my place as clean as if they were never there. I cannot recommend them enough!
Outstanding work! Super clean and super helpful with coming up with lighting solutions for my house. I Highly Recommend Crafted !
As a residential and commercial contractor for over 50 years I have experienced many different subcontractors. Electric, plumbing, etc. My requirements are simple. Communication, responsibility, quality workmanship. Michael embodies all of these. He has been attentive to not only what I need but just as important to my customers, whether residential or commercial. I fully recommend him. Glen Davis Davis Builders In.
